Joanna “Jo” Weaver

Education: Judson College

Hometown: Birmingham, Alabama

Pets: I have a Shetland Shepherd; his name is Frasier. I also have a Chihuahua named Baby.

Back in 1998 I began grooming at a local animal clinic. Soon after learning the ropes of the business I decided to start my own grooming service. “Jo’s Pet Grooming” would become my main focus for the next five years. A move forced me to take a break from my business. Yet, now I am back at it here at Crossroads Animal Hospital. This is the first time I can truly say that I work with a group of passionate staff members and Doctors alike! Their dedication to their clients and their animals is unmatched. Our #1 priority here. I see a bright future for me here at Crossroads and hopefully I will be here for years to come!

My passion for animals began at a young age. As a child I would meander through the neighborhood occasionally “borrowing” dogs from the neighbors’ backyards. My Mother, not being an animal person, wasn’t amused, but I desperately wanted my own dog. It now seems as if my childhood was foreshadowing my career. Now I have plenty of dogs to love on a daily basis!

I have a beautiful daughter that I love spending time with and am so proud of!
