Hospital Management

Meet Ashley, Practice Manager at Crossroads Animal Hospital

Ashley, Hospital Manager

Ashley is a Tuscaloosa native that graduated from Tuscaloosa County High School in 2005. She then attended Shelton State Community College to obtain a degree in nursing. Shortly after, she realized she wanted to follow her heart and work in the veterinarian field, in 2006 she began her journey in the industry. Ashley joined Dr. Paul Bronold in 2011 and has since managed multiple clinics for him. She has many responsibilities in the clinic: including, business management, employee management, coordinating continuing education meetings for staff, employee training, managing day to day hospital operations, managing inventory and many more! She is very dedicated to her career and is always looking for ways to improve client education and communication. In 2020, Ashley developed her technical skills and is now also a part of our Veterinary Assistant team. She is a member of the American Association of Feline Practitioners and the Veterinary Hospital Managers Association. Ashley takes pride in both her job and developing personal relationships with clients and patients. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her son, Conner. She also enjoys traveling and photography. She is a proud mom to TWO Boston Terriers (Marley and Marshall), a French Bulldog (Chuck) and a sweet rescue cat (Ms. Nomad).

Meet Allison, Crossroads Animal Hospital

Allison

Allison’s heart is for serving others. With an interest in health sciences, Allison worked as a physical therapy technician for several years. She then transitioned and became a fitness assistant at a state of the art aquatic and fitness center. Allison is very organized and therefore essential for keeping our front desk area spick and span!
 

Allison is one of 4 sisters, one is her twin! To this she can credit her grit, sense of humor, and compassionate spirit. Allison is married to her highschool sweetheart. When the weather is just right, she enjoys going for runs, working out, Christmas time, and relaxing in the sunshine.

Meet Ashlyn Customer Service Representative

Ashlyn

Ashlyn is one of six receptionists here at Crossroads. She has been in the veterinary field for 4 years and is married to her high school sweetheart, whom she shares two children with. When she is not at work or home, she enjoys helping manage her and her spouse’s photography business. Ashlyn is also our Wellbeing Ambassador and loves to help promote mental health for all team members in the clinic. She looks forward to greeting you and your fur-babies upon arrival!

Meet Lexi, Crossroads Animal Hospital

Lexi

Lexi was born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama. She graduated from Victory Christian High School and now attends Jacksonville State University majoring in Marketing. She is a proud dog mom to Finn and Rip. She enjoys reading, working out and hanging out at the lake! When she isn’t studying, you can catch Lexi and her bubbly personality at Crossroads ready to assist clients and their pets!

Meet Tina, Crossroads Animal Hospital

Tina Baker, LVT

Tina has been an animal lover her entire life! She started volunteering for, then working at, her local animal shelter while she was in high school. She has worked in veterinary medicine since 2009 and graduated from Jefferson State Community College with an Associates in Applied Science- Veterinary Technology.  She is also Fear Free Certified and has been at Crossroads since 2017. She and her husband Daniel have a personal zoo at home that includes cats, snakes, and their two dogs Pepe the Italian Greyhound and Marty the Silken Windhound.  She enjoys time in the great outdoors hiking with her dogs, horseback riding, and going canoeing with her husband.

Meet Julie, Crossroads Animal Hospital

Julie Fell

Julie is originally from North Carolina but moved to Pelham, AL in 1989. She has been working as a Veterinary Assistant at Crossroads since June of 2019 and looks forward to growing and learning at Crossroads Animal Hospital for many years to come. She has been married to her best friend for 19 years and they currently live in Ragland, AL with their three beautiful children and crazy dog named Juno.
