Pet Grooming

Preferred Pet Grooming serving Moody, Trussville, Pell City, Irondale, Leeds, Odenville and Springville, AL

Our grooming facility prides itself on the comfort needs of your pet during their grooming experience. Time allowance is judged by your pet’s individual needs and circumstances. We do not accept walk in or drop off appointments unless your pet is an existing client and we have a history of grooming experience with availability in our schedule. For pets staying in our boarding facility, special arrangements can be made for grooming or bathing on the day of pick-up; please schedule early!

We want all puppies to have the opportunity to become comfortable with the grooming process during their formative first months. We have no age or breed restrictions; however, we do require that all pets coming in for grooming be current on their vaccinations. Dogs must be current on their Distemper/Parvo and Rabies vaccines. Cats must be current on their Feline distemper and Rabies vaccines. This requirement helps keep your pet, other pets, and the groomer safe from common contagious diseases.

Each full groom includes: shampooing, conditioning, nail trim, ear cleaning, and anal gland expression. We also provide basic bathing, medicated bathing and treatments, de-shedding treatments, nail grinding, and flea and tick prevention. Through obedience grooming or sedation grooming, we offer solutions with aggressive and hard to groom pets. We do not sedate our grooming patients unless absolutely necessary to prevent injury to the pet from excessive movement or to calm highly aggressive pets. We will not sedate without your permission. Sedated patients are monitored by the doctor or vet tech.
